Sokoro: The shock wave detector that direct your cameras in real time
Sokoro, the smart audio detector that provides direction of the origin of an explosion, a gunshot, an accident or a breaking window. It automatically points the cameras to what needs to be seen
Thanks to its self-learning system, the Sokoro continously learns, adapts to and analyses the usual sound activity of the site where it has been placed. It can then detect an unexpected sound event. It immediatly flags the threat to the system by sending an IP notification indicating the direction from which the anomalous sound originates.

Operating characteristics of the SOKORO detector

Sokoro monitors the sound activity of the 40m radius area where it has been installed. It continously and automatically adapts to the sound environment: day/night, peak hours, weather conditions, events, roadworks, etc.

It detects new, sudden and very brief sound events (less than 20 ms), clearly raising from the soundscape: detonations, explosions, gunshots, impacts on metal, vehicle collisions, ram-raiding, glass breakage.

In a quiet environment, it can also detect uncommon noises such as the slamming of a door, metallic impacts (shocks on gates or barriers)… or any other noise that would naturally startle us in a quiet environment.

The 360° monitored area is divided into 12 detection zones (+1 at the foot). Each corresponds to a notification.

PT cameras are pointed to the sound source forcing them to look at the right scene at the right time.

The operation room can also receive alerts from fixed cameras which were triggered by notifications.

Soko: The smart audio shock detector compatible with all security systems
Soko detects sudden and very brief sound events, such as detonations, shocks, gunshots. It sends a notification to all types of security systems, from the simplest to the most complex
This smart detector is designed for indoor and outdoor environments. It continuously analyses the sound environment of the area where it has been installed. It detects unsual and sudden sound events such as "shocks".
Total privacy is guaranteed as absolutely no sound is recorded or forwarded. This detector is stand-alone: analysis is processed on board. It can be connected to any system equipped with contact inputs. It can also be integrated into a VMS to synchronise Soko's detection with the CCTV cameras monitoring the area.
Designed for car parks, shops, shopping centres, lobbies, offices, but also for warehouses, streets and alleys, parks, fairs, venues, etc.

Operating characteristics of the SOKO detector

Soko's monitor's the sound activity of the area where it has been installed. The self-learning A.I. engine continuously learns and adapts to the normal sound activity. Unusual sound impacts are flagged by activating a contact (NO/NC).

Soko detects sudden and very brief sound events (less than 250 ms) with a distinctly different signature from the sound environment, and which have not occurred recently : detonations, explosions, gunshots, impacts on metal, accidents, ramming cars, glass breakage.

In a quiet environment, it can also detect noises such as the slamming of a door, metallic impacts (shocks on gates or barriers)… or any other noise that would naturally startle us in a silent environment.

Soko features 4 levels of detection sensitivity adjustable with a switch. The sensitivity is to be adapted according to the distance between the detector and the expected sound source: position 0 for an approximately 2 meters distance, position 3 for an approximately 20 meters distance.

A powerful processor continuously assesses the sound environment within the detector's range and detects detonations.

The soundscape varies according to the time of day and the number of visitors. It consists of permanent background noise, repetitive sound events (markers) and unusual sound events (signals). These data are continuously monitored and the detector adapts to them using its machine learning system.
